Breaking-In of Horses

The region of Berry abounds in winding trails with "bouchures berrichonnes" (hedges in Berry), that both one-day ramblers or more expert walkers can take advantage of.

7 walks are routed by the French Federation of Pedestrian Rambling (from 6 to 23 kilometers or from 9 to 30 miles) in order to give you an even better taste of the environment.

A topo-guide is sold at the Tourist Office which includes all the information you need
(a map, indications, restaurants, accommodation) .

A map of our region (Pays Berry saint-Amandois) has been published. It indicates all the tourist boards, information points, accommodation (hotels, B&B, group gite, stopover gites, camp sites), tourist sites (castles, churches, gardens and so on...) It also lists the many activities on offer (water sports, flying clubs, equestrian farms, etc..). Finally, you can follow the GR 41 and GR de Pays which are two main routes for walking that go through many of the villages of our region. You can walk for just one day, or do it all (about 300 km)

The general council has also published a guide with some 46 walks and 4 circuits for cyclists. This guide offers a presentation of tourist sites and the main events. It is sold 15€ in bookshops and tourist offices.
